Rainbows and Unicorns, two of my 5 year old daughters favourite things (alongside turtles..but that’s another blog post), so when she saw the new RainboCorns she actually squealed…she is like a magpie for sparkles and RainboCorns are most definitely sparkly. After watching the new RainboCorns Webisodes on YouTube, she couldn’t wait to get her hands on a toy one for herself. Episode two of the RainboBorns is particularly cute..
The new RainboCorns Sequin Surprise toys are set to be a big hit this Christmas for children everywhere, and recently at Blog On I got to find out for myself why kids love them so much.
First of all, the surprise element…each pink plastic ‘egg’ is a surprise as to which character you get inside. There are 12 different characters to collect with Unicorns, PuppyCorns, HamsterCorns, Bunnycorns, Monkeycorns and Kittycorns to find. But it’s not just the character that is a surprise, there is a ‘Sequin surprise’ on each one too, hence the name as I’m sure you released at the beginning. Unwrapping the clear plastic wrap, you can then brush the sequins to see which secret picture is hidden in the sequins.
Opening up the egg, you will find your RainboCorn, who has a convenient space in his belly ready for the sequin heart to pop in. Underneath the RainboCorn character you will also find a baby Boo-BooCorn too…in it’s own little egg. There is even some rare twins hiding in some lucky RainboCorn eggs, and in total there are 22 different characters to collect.
The actual RainboCorn is just so fluffy, our Unicorn has the most beautiful rainbow hair, the softest furry body and eyes that you just can’t help buy say ‘awwww’ to. I love that they can hide back in their eggs again, creating even more play.
Ours has become a firm favourite, you can get your hands on your very own RainboCorns Sequin Surprise for an RRP of £24.99 from Argos, Smyths, The Entertainer, ASDA and B&M, with MonkeyCorns available exclusively from Argos only.
