I LOVE Christmas, and everything about it, especially the lead up to it. So when I saw this game at BlogOn earlier this year, I knew it would be great to have a seasonal game to try out.
It arrived just a few weeks ago, and since the kids have loved trying it out, they don’t care one bit that it’s actually summer time.
I would say though, if you are buying this as a present then it’s best to open it up first and make sure you have put the stickers on the parts first as this did take me a while to work out which ones were which, and my kids would definitely not wait for me to do this if they received it as a gift on Christmas morning.
Once stickered up, it’s easy to put together and the kids have loved helping me put the igloo together to get playing. It’s easy to do, you put the ring on the base and then just build up the layers of numbers shown on the base.
Once it’s complete you put the eskimo on top and you’re ready to play. You life the base off, which brings the whole igloo off the circle base, meaning your igloo is just like a real igloo with blocks that can fall inside.
There is 4 ‘ice picks’ included with the game, blue, green, yellow and red. All you do is simply put the pick in, twist it and pull the block out. The winner is the person with the least blocks…
But remember pick your blocks wisely or they all fall down…
