The Teletubbies are back and are cuter than ever! They first warmed a generation of hearts back from their original launch in 1997, but this time they have a new modern twist and kids of a new generation are loving it!
So it’s only natural that with the new program, a new toy range has to come out, to keep your little ones happy with their very own Teletubbies!
We were chosen to be Teletubbies reviewers, and our box turned up looking AMAZING! Opening it up we discovered…
Included inside was….
Teletubbies Superdome Playset. RRP £29.99. Suitable from 18 months+
This set was first to be opened and had not been left alone since, it comes included with one figure, Po. Others are available to buy separate (collectible figures are £3.99 each) and really do increase the play factor the set by a massive amount. The actual play set has a few features which really bring play to life. First of all is the lift at the back which you can move up and down. On the right is the Tubby toaster which when you push a button, Tubby Toast pops up, even better than that is that it is attached so there is no small pieces to lose. On the left is the table and chairs and this spins. The chairs are great for the Teletubbies as they fit in there perfectly. In the middle is push buttons for sound effects. Finally there is a Noo Noo who moves across the floor. The set looks quite basic, but Emma has found it brilliant, she is glued to it and has been using imaginative role play for hours with it, it is definitely worth every penny.
Teletubbies Talking Soft Toy, RRP £9,99.
These super cute companions are the perfect friend to use all day and night. Their faces are soft and have cute features and their bodies are huggable. Inside each one is a box that when pushed make noises that the character makes from the show. We were sent Tinky Winky who we gave to www.milkhoneyrocketbee.co.uk for her little boy who LOVES the Teletubbies too.
I think he loves it!
We were also sent Teletubbies Tickle and Glow Po figure. RRP £14.99.
This is also available in Laa-laa too. The idea is with this that you tickle the Teletubbies Tummy screen and it lights up and makes sound. It giggles and speaks sounds from the show, but he is solid plastic, but is sturdy and would survive even the roughest of play.
Overall, we love the new Teletubbies range, the toys are awesome, they really bring the new show to life. The new range is available in all good toy shops now!
