I am very fortunate that my kids love fruit, but they get fed up of the same old packed lunches. I am always on the search for things to jazz it up, and the new Crosse & Blackwell 4Kids fruit pots have been perfect for doing just that.
On first glance, there is Toy Story characters which immediately the children were drawn to. They all quickly decided which ones they wanted in their lunches that day, and even earmarked which ones they would have the next day too.
Opening up the packet you get a little spoon included in a packet, you then just peel back the clear plastic lid and your fruit pot is ready to be eaten.
It is that simple even my 3 year old can do it at playschool. The cardboard, the plastic pot and the plastic wrapping for the spoon can all be recycled too (dependant on local recycling)
So what’s inside the pot?
First up there is no artificial colours or preservatives, there is fruit and also fruit juice. These contribute to be one of your childs 5-a-day.
Jordan and Brooke loved these in their lunch boxes and are already pestering me to buy more. Is it the fun characters or the product inside? I have no idea, but they LOVE them. Although I wouldn’t substitute a piece of actual fruit for one of these, these are a great treat to have in the lunchbox. I think they would also be great to try for kids who won’t eat a traditional piece of fruit. These are certainly better than a bar of chocolate or a cake!

We were sent the fruit pots for the purpose of this review, all thoughts are my own.
