>Marky has to be a serious contender for the worlds biggest Peppa Pig fan. Before he could talk he would snort like a pig to express his desire to watch his favourite show.
So when I was contacted to ask if Marky would like to review Peppa Pig Peppa’s My First Laptop by Inspiration Works, I knew Marky would love to put it through its paces!
It arrived in a cardboard box which allowed you to open up the lid of the laptop to try out. It comes complete with the batteries needed, which are 3 x AA size. Opening up the box it was easy to get out with a few of those plastic wrap ties to remove. It was then ready for play, no assembly required!
Marky immediately took it and opened it up, saying ‘Peppa Pig Laptop’, he then started exploring by pressing the different brightly coloured buttons. The reward of noises, music and lights captured his attention instantly. He then learn that he can close and open the lid with no help from us. With the carry handle he was enthralled that he could carry it around easily to wherever he wanted, which happened to be his Peppa Pig Playhouse!
There is more to the laptop than just noise and music though, it actually has 4 games which you simply select by using the slider at the bottom. This is easy for little fingers to do, and Marky can easily do it unaided.
The four games are:
Quiz Mode: It asks you questions which you answer by pressing the buttons, for example it will ask you about colours or ‘
Discovery Mode: This is for discovering colours, numbers, letter as well as Peppa and her friends.
Advanced Quiz Mode: This is more challenging as your child grows up and learns more, it asks you questions which relates to the colours which match the buttons with the colours on screen.
Music Mode: This is Markys favourite mode, it enables each key to make a musical note. You can then create your own music (or noise in Marks case!)
There is a twisty button in the middle which when twisted makes funny noises too. Luckily for parents there is an off switch located underneath, but when you close the lid of the laptop it automatically stops the toy, so it’s not one of those annoying toys which will carry on playing tunes and talking randomly when put in the toy box! Not to mention the battery saving bonus in that, because lets face it, batteries are not cheap nowadays! The batteries that came included have not shown any sign of becoming flat, and Marky and his little playmates has played with this everyday for 2 weeks.
The laptop is recommended for age 2 years plus, which is an appropriate age in my opinion. Although a younger child would enjoy pressing the buttons to make the sounds, there is so many more features that toddlers will love and learn with.
This is a great toy that any Peppa Pig fan will love, I love the bonus that it is teaching your child something too. I love that the colour scheme isn’t girly like a lot of the Peppa Pig toys this is gender neutral which is a big bonus in my books!
You can buy Peppa’s My First Laptop from Amazon, Mothercare, John Lewis, The Entertainer, Morrisons and other good toy stores.

>There are a lot of laptops out there, from the large-screen desktop replacements to the lightweight ultra por tables, but all share common features, The reward of noises, music and lights captured his attention instantly.
