I was sent some Crayola 3d washable outdoor chalk to test out for izziwizzikids.co.uk.
My two tiny testers for this was Brooke, aged 6, and Jordan, aged 8. Jordan has autism so he is very honest and speaks his mind, when he actually talks that is, alot of the time he is in his own bubble, so I am always keen to find different activities to try and engage him.
The packaging was really vibrant and both the kiddies were excited to see it. It is pretty self explantory. You draw on the outdoor floor with the chalks, then you can wash it off afterwards with water. But this also has a twist! Included is a pair of 3d glasses to wear to look at your chalk pictures. The packaging states suitable for age 4+.
Included in the pack was 5 double ended different coloured chalks and an information leaflet that had some different designs to test out. Jordan was keen to try out the squares and was in awe when he looked through the glasses to see what they looked like. In his words, he said that it looked like he had ”dug a hole and filled it with blue water!”. I will have to take his word for this though because due to being blind in one eye I never get the 3d effects 🙁 But he was one very impressed 8 year old.
Brooke, being independant, decieded to go for her own pattern!
Here is out video review!
The chalks are great fun. My kids love drawing and painting, so this was a great alternative. I can see many hours of fun with these all summer long!
