My 14 year old is a HUGE Strictly Come Dancing fan, she has been to two live shows and watched every show repeatedly to see her favourites. So when the Strictly Come Dancing Game arrived, I have honestly never seen a child as excited.
Opening up the box, you find everything you need to play a game. Assembly is minimal, with just 3 x aaa batteries needed for the iconic glitterball (batteries not included). The ball has all the buttons needed and features the voice of Craig Revell Horwood himself, as well as the iconic theme tune that you just can’t help but hum along with.
It does take 3 people to play, and is suitable for age 8 plus, which I think it about right as it’s not an easy one for smaller people to understand. If you love the show, you will known many of the features from the show in the game. You pick your playing piece and work your way around the board, landing on the different sections of the stage as you go. There are trivia questions and challenges to do as you go. Eventually when you get to the final you get to do either an actual dance or even a finger dance if you have less space available, there is some handy guides included with step by step instruction.
