My children have been begging me for a dog for about a year now. But that is such a huge responsibility to undertake, and when I have four children to look after too, I just can’t commit. But then Snuggles turned up for review…could this stop the pestering?!
Snuggles is part of the Little Live Pets range, and is priced with an RRP of £49.99. He is super cute to look at, and even softer to touch! Inside his box is his own adoption certificate and bottle too. He comes complete with 4 x AAA batteries for use, but the box says these are for demo purposes, but they are still going strong with our Snuggles a few weeks later…
Once he was out of the box, there is nothing needed to initate play, it’s just play and go! Great for Christmas and Birthday mornings. There is a switch on one of Snuggles paws, that has an ON, OFF and TRY ME option. So you have no worry about Snuggles waking up in the night when he is being cuddled.
Snuggles is really soft, as an interactive toy I expected him to have more of a solid body inside, but he has been created so that he is soft and much more toy like than robot like. Snuggles really comes to life when you activate him. He loves to be stroked, and there is various points all over his body which means he is really interactive. His face has loads of movement, so looks really realistic, the surrounding area of his eyes move, and he even responds to his bottle and actually makes drinking noises. When you lay him down he goes to sleep, snores and you can see him breathing as his tummy moves up and down like a real puppy.
My kids have LOVED having Snuggles to stay, they love playing with him and it is definitely something I would purchase myself as he is such a high quality toy and really interactive and life like. I would love to see some accessories for Snuggles brought out, maybe a dog basket for him to have somewhere to sleep. Alternatively you can cut his box open and use that a makeshift one like us 🙂
