It’s so hard to know what to do for the children’s birthdays, they want a party but it’s so daunting as parties can be such hard work for us parents. Firstly it’s finding something the kids will love, then worrying about the mess, the food…the list goes on. But I may have found the perfect solution!
Pizza Express Pizza Making Party!
Held at your local Pizza Express restaurant they have the perfect party package that kids of all ages will LOVE. Last weekend we popped down to experience an actual party for ourselves, taking along my 13 year old, my 6 year old and my 3 year old, so a broad age range.
First up I must mention the party hosts, the Pizza Express staff, they are just amazing. They are awesome at really getting the kids excited and joining in, nothing is too much trouble for them and they handle a bunch of kids better than I ever could.
The party is ran with precision but fun and it seemed so relaxing for us parents. The parents are stood at the side sipping on something tasty to drink, while all the kids needs are catered for. The staff give all the children their very own dough to knead and make their very own pizza.
Each step is demonstrated and staff are on hand to help the ones that need help and just make it interactive for everyone.
So they had to knead the dough….stretch it…
add the base….
add the toppings…
and put them in the oven to cook…even kids who don’t like pizza loved making the actual pizza, and staff were so fabulous that they were happy to make pasta up for the non pizza eaters when it came to the eating part! While the pizza was cooking, activity packs and doughballs were provided to keep the kids amused.
Before they knew it the pizza they had created was served up! Boxes were provided too so you could take some home.
After Pizza comes Ice cream to finish! My kids all had the most fabulous time, the staff are amazing, the kids were kept amused and the whole experience from start to finish was perfect. The best bit is that all mess is left for the poor Pizza Express staff to clean up! I adore the Pizza Making party and guarantee the next party I host will be a pizza making party at Pizza Express. Prices are £11.95 per child which is included everything mentioned, and minimum number of children is 8, simply contact your local restaurant to book and discuss further.
We attended a party for the purpose of this review, all thoughts are my own.
Do you think this is suitable for 3 year old? I’m up with the idea as I knew my 3 year old is going to be so excited and very interested in cooking, just not sure about his friends. Will they understand and know what to do?
