Long term readers of this blog will know how seriously I take well fitting shoes for children. I find it so important that I even went on a course to teach me how to fit shoes for babies, toddlers and children. Throughout my 12 years of parenting, and numerous visits to high street shoe shops, I have pretty much seen it all, but what really annoys me is seeing a child in ill-fitting shoes, and it appears I am not alone. I do know that some parents don’t know about shoe fitting, but it is really important for your child to have well fitting shoes, especially on growing feet. It just goes to show, there is so much more going on inside the foot, a good well fitting shoe is paramount. Please please make sure you take your little ones to get professionally measured at a reputable shoe shop, such as Charles Clinkard.
