Christmas is fast approaching, and a popular choice for the ideal present, is a wooden play kitchen. I have been testing out the Plum Snopwdrop Interactive Wooden Kitchen, and I can truly say it has some great features.
Obviously, the first part is the assembly. The box arrived and it was quite compact, but opening it up, there does appear to be a large amount of assembly, but the instructions were clear, and within half an hour we had our fully assembled kitchen ready for playtime.
Then came the fun bit! Emma took no time at all getting started. I love that this kitchen comes complete with some accessories, it has a frying pan, a pot with a lid, and a spoon and spatula! The build quality of this kitchen is fantastic, it has a large oven door, with fixed shelving inside, and a door on the microwave, both of which are strong. The actual kitchen is solid and sturdy, it really is toddler proof! The features are all that a real kitchen would have, hob rings, taps which turn, a sink bowl, and even the door on the microwave has a real blackboard on it, so you can make sure you don’t forget those vital ingredients next time you go play shopping.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, this kitchen has a massive unique selling point that makes it stand out from the crowd. It has a handy holder in the oven door, which you can put your tablet inside, it has special fixings that means no glue or screws are needed, so no damage to your tablet will occur. There is a special app available, on both iOS and android. It is completely free, but it means your child can cook up some great creations, and all safely too!
