Emma is a massive fan of In The Night Garden, and I have been searching for toys from the show. I had stumbled upon this huge Ninky Nonk train a while ago, but with a RRP of £49.99, I have to admit I was hesitant. So when we were offered the chance to review it, I literally jumped at the chance.

When it arrived, the kids were in awe at the size of the huge box!

Opening it up was like Christmas, there is loads inside the box, this is a sizeable gift that would really impress on a Birthday or Christmas.

The whole Ninky Nonk is made up of 5 carriages, which are easy to attach, even for little fingers. Each part has its own special features. The front has music and lights, it has buttons which you press which not only say some of the popular sayings from the characters, but it plays the theme tune and authentic ninky nonk noises. This part also has the pull along string, which when all the parts are attached, all pull along perfectly. Emma LOVES pulling the Ninky Nonk around the house. ninky_nonk_musical_train_review

The next carriage is the Tombiloos shape sorter, which comes with three shapes, and when you press the top, it spins! It is a little tricky to get the shapes out, and Emma cannot do it alone yet, but at least they stay inside when she is pulling it along.

Upsy Daisy’s carriage is next, and not only does it have a door that cleverly opens to reveal steps, but inside the top is stacking blocks which have images of the haa hoo’s on. They fit lovely inside, or stacked up they are impressive, even the roof fits on both ways.

Pop Up Iggle Piggle is super cute, and a great addition, but Emma’s favourite is the Pontipines and Wottingers carriage, it’s the smallest carriage, but it has a door on each side which show the little people inside the house. Emma loves opening and closing the doors and saying hello to them.

I can honestly say this In The Night Garden Musical Activity Train is amazing, it is worth every penny of the £49.99 RRP, it has so much play value for any Night Garden fan with all the activities, we absolutely adore it!
