Another one from our Idea Games package is…Gooey Louie!
OK, I have to admit, this was the one game that I wasn’t keen on, teaching children to pick bogeys out of a nose is well, a little gross and goes against all my parenting beliefs, but bear with me…..
Opening up the box I found it required minimal assembly
To set Louie up you just need to pop the bogeys in, pop the flap down, pop his eyes in and brain in the top of his head. Then you are ready to pick the bogeys! The bogeys are not as icky as I thought they would be, they do have a little stick to them, but they are not runny.
The idea of the game is that everyone takes a turn picking a bogey out of Louies nose, there will be one prson who pulls the bogey that means Louies eyes pop out and his brain too! It pops out first and did make my 3 year old scream, but the scream was followed with hysterical laughing!
I haven’t found the children attempting to pick their own noses, so I wouldn’t say it was a bad influence, the children just see it as a bit of fun. I love that all the pieces fit back in the box, and there is no batteries needed, a mummy winner!
