I won’t lie, the school holidays have been a shock to my system. It is my first Summer Holidays with all four children at home. But not only that, I am working from home too.
I won’t lie, the school holidays have been a shock to my system. It is my first Summer Holidays with all four children at home. But not only that, I am working from home too. Multitasking at it’s best? No, my house is a mess and I have more grey hair than I ever thought possible at 28. But this weekend I am escaping, I am escaping the children, I am escaping the house and I am actually escaping life for a few hours.
Next week is my mums Birthday, but as she is on holiday I have arranged to go down to see her this weekend, I have booked a hotel and am going down the night before to go out with my friends. I have been shopping for an outfit, getting my hair done, and even some laser hair removal. I am painting my nails, slapping the war paint on and I shall be indulging in some wine!
For one night only I have no children to wake me up, no children to come into my bed in the morning and batter me over the head. I shall be spreading out over my whole bed and not setting any alarms! For one night only I shall be Danielle and not Mum…that’s if I am not asleep on the table at 9pm….
