Having had three children previously who all had traditional moses baskets, I was not keen on having a moses basket at all with baby number 4. I hate wicker, they do not feel safe in my opinion. When I used to move it to a different room I was always worried a handle would snap off. I also found traditional baskets made noise, creaking to be precise. So when I tried out the Shnuggle I was impressed that these ‘faults’ I found with traditional moses basket just didn’t exist with the Shnuggle.
Shnuggle is made of a rigid material that is 100% free of Chemicals, BPA and Pthtalates. It has a specially created ventilated base which allows it to be completely safe for even the tiniest of babies. I love that because of this material, you can wash it down and even sterilise it. Ok, so I may have a little bit OCD, but wicker can not be completely cleaned. Even the smallest of dust particles can get trapped in wicker, where as the Shnuggle material means this doesn’t happen.
The covers and handle are all made from pure cotton. All covers are removable, so again, can be washed easily. The hood again is cotton, it stays up in place and means I can shield the light away from Emma’s eyes when she is having nap time. The modern clean lines of the Shnuggle means it is the perfect choice for the modern interior.
I love the Shnuggle, and even better still, Emma does too. She sleeps soundly, and I can even move it around and she stays firmly asleep. I feel 100% confident that my baby is safe and cosy. If you are looking for a moses basket, I seriously suggest that you look at the Shnuggle first, you will not find better!
