Men are notoriously hard to buy for when it comes to presents. If my budget allowed, then I know a new sports car or motorbike would go down a treat. But my budget is not that large! So what can you buy a man?
Socks. It a proven fact that men need socks. I am yet to find a man who doesn’t wear socks. Although, you do have to be careful on sock choice. Some men like thick sports socks, others prefer cotton socks. My dad however, hates character socks with a passion. So his idea of an awful present would be a pair of lively fun socks such as these little beauties…
Toiletries. There is nothing worse than a smelly man, but also nothing more alluring than a man who smell delicious and clean. Buying smellies I don’t think you can go wrong. As long as you like the smell, you can convince your man to use it with the good old ‘Oh that is so sexy….’ will have them using your desired scent. From showergel, to deodorant to Aftershave Balm, there is plenty of choice.
Underwear. Again, same theory here, every man needs underwear. But you need to research and find out what they prefer to wear to avoid wasting your money. My husband will only wear jersey boxers with elastic waistbands. So disaster for him would be y-fronts or a g-string. I personally love character pants but my hubby would stash them at the back of his drawer! I love these character boxers from Debenhams.
Just goes to show, you don’t need to spend a fortune and buy a man a present this Christmas. Team the useful gifts that you know they will get the use out of, with their favourite tipple of choice, or their favourite sweets or chocolate, wrap it all up lovely and pop in a stocking and they will be a happy chappy this Christmas morning!
