Earlier this year I applied to be a Quinnycaster for the Quinny Senzz, and was estatic to be picked as one of twenty people who would testing the pushchair out. But Quinny encountered some problems with the production of the Senzz, so decided to cancel the Senzz testing program. Instead we were all advised that we would get to test out a completely new Quinny product before it hits the UK market.
Quinny then unveiled their new Quinny Moodd and Quinny Yezz!
At this point we had no idea what we would get to test, or even when we would get to test it out. We were asked to send all our information to Quinny about our lifestyles, what transport we use most, the list goes on…
I was quite fortunate to visit The Baby Show for Trade back in October, where I got to see both pushchairs in all their glory. The Moodd does look very similar to the buzz, in fact the chassis looks identical, but the seat unit looks lovely, deeply padded and comfortable. However the Yezz was the talking point with most people as it is so different, and unique. It has scooter wheels and the seat unit is that similar to a parachute or tent, and the seat unit is held onto the chassis by rope. It certainly is very different from any other pushchair on the market.
Last night we were asked for our childrens dates of birth, and today we got the email we had been waiting all these months for!! We were suited to our pushchairs by our childrens ages, the 10 youngest children got the Quinny Moodd, and the oldest 10 got the Quinny Yezz. Mark is 22 months.
Congratulations QuinnyCaster you will be testing a QUINNY YEZZ!
So here is what Quinny say about the Yezz…..
Quinny Yezz:
- So light and compact that you can easily carry the Quinny Yezz easily over your shoulder with the strap
- Incredibly easy one-step fold and unfold action
- Compact size when folded (68,5 x 27 x 23,5 cm) and lightweight (5kg)
- When folded, the Yezz stands upright alone
- Very manouvrable using unique skate wheels
- Includes storage pocket (max. 2 kg) and sun canopy
- Suitable from 6 months
We were asked to pick colour, I opted for the Grey colour scheme.
We were informed that we will also be receiving a raincover with our Quinny Yezz, this is an extra item which you normally have to purchase as an extra with the pushchair.
We are yet to hear what our first challenge will be, but our Quinny Yezz is expected to be delivered just before Christmas. I shall keep you all updated! Feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will try my hardest to answer them for you.
