>Easy Peasy FoolProof Chocolate Fudge recipe

>I like to think I am a whizz in the kitchen. I really enjoy cooking and creating, but in all honesty it has to be an easy creation, or at least a recipe with easy to follow steps. I like to bake with as little effort as possible, as we all know just how busy a life of a mummy is!

Last night I made hubby some of his favourite fudge and posted the picture on my personal Facebook Page, I was inundated with requests for the easy peasy foolproof  recipe. So here it is!

Easy Peasy Chocolate Fudge Recipe

You will need:

Half a can of Carnation Condensed Milk 397g.
200g of chocolate.
100g of Icing Sugar.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl. I personally used the microwave last night, as I was feeling particularly lazy. Obviously the key here is to make sure its not overcooked, as chocolate does burn easily. You can of course do it the old fashioned way, by melting the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water. Either way is good IMO.

Remove the chocolate from the heat once melted.
Pour half a can of Carnation Condensed Milk into the chocolate and stir until mixed well. Then sift Icing Sugar into the mixture a little at a time, until it is of thick consistency. I then added a tub of Glace Cherries, as my hubby loves Cherries, but you can add nuts, or whatever takes your fancy.

I then line a cake tin with brown paper and pour the thick fudge mixture into it. A spatula is especially great at smoothing the fudge down. I didn’t smooth mine down last night, but I think this gave it a nice homemade feel.

Place into the fridge for 2 hours, then remove and cut up with a sharp knife.

Enjoy!
