>As a child of the 80’s, I grew up watching Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grouch and Elmo in Sesame Street. When I had my own children I rediscovered some of my favourite charachters once again! Mark loves watching Elmo’s world, so when I got an invite for us to meet the one and only Elmo, I just had to go!

I decided to take the train from our house in Essex to London, where we met up with Lauren and Spud from http://spudandspike.co.uk/
I tackled the tube with a buggy and was rather proud of myself when I reached our destination of the 32nd floor in Centre Point, New Oxford Street.
We were welcomed into a gorgeous room with very appropriate red chairs where we had a Lets Rock! Elmo to play with and try out.

A delicious lunch of sandwiches, pasta, salad and most importantly, cheesecake was served to us.

Marky loves food, and was happy to sit like a good little boy eating his cheesecake….
even when the one and only Elmo arrived, Marky still sat and devoured his cake! Elmo came over to see Marky and have a chat

Elmo wanted to see what cake was that good that Mark wouldn’t leave it alone, but instead decided that Marky looked tasty!

Elmo was even more adorable in real life, I didn’t think that would be possible! I will not lie, I was star-struck with Elmo, all those years as a child spent wishing I could meet Elmo, finally came true!

All of us mummy’s got a chance to chat to Elmo and ask him some burning questions.

Immy from Me&My Kiddywinks asked me if I could ask Elmo:

‘Does Elmo’s tummy ever hurt from all that laughing?’

Elmo replied

‘Oh yes, Elmo loves laughing, and his belly always hurts, thats the best bit’

Then we asked ‘How old are you Elmo?’

Elmo replied

‘Elmo is three and a half’

Elmo spent lots of time speaking with each lucky child and mummy, and we even found that Elmo loves trains, but probably not as much as Spud does!

We loved our day meeting Elmo, and are now even bigger fans of Elmo, not that I thought that would be possible!!

A big thank you to Hasbro for making a childhood dream come true and a big thank you to Elmo for being so adorable!
