I love shopping for my kids, they always have wardrobes filled to the brim with gorgeous clothes, usually bought online as the thought of taking all 3 of my kids into clothes shops is pretty much my worst nightmare!!
When I was asked if I would like to pick something from Ellos, I jumped at the chance.

Ellos is a very well established brand in Sweden, it was founded in 1947. It has since grown to be the number one mail order brand in Sweden. Ellos has now branched out to supply 6 more countries with their range, and the UK is one of them.
Clicking onto their website I immediately went to the kids range. It was easy to find, all the catergories are simply listed at the top. I love the way it’s simplistic, there isn’t too much information and details bombarding you on the home page.
Once I clicked on the Kids option, I had a choice of catergories down the left hand side of the page. As you can see in my screen shot here there is Catergories incluidng Boys, Girls, and Babies. There is then sub-catergories for each one, where you can choose to look at Tops, Jackets, etc. I have since found that the only down side is that some items are catergoried into a catergory that I wouldn’t of thought to choose, such as Tracksuits in Dresses and Tops.

The website was easy to navigate and I quickly found an adorable outfit that I knew my 6 year old daughter would adore. I loved the way the pictures are set out as clothes and not just models wearing the clothes, we all know how different shaped bodies can cause the clothes to look completely different once on.

The size option for each item is given in height, but they do also list this in age range too and there is a link to a size guide on each item. I personally love knowing the height that the clothes fit, as Brooke inherited my unusually short legs. As a result I ordered the outfit in age 5/6, despite knowing she would turn 7 in September.

When our outfit turned up it was packaged pretty much like any mail order package, in plastic wrapping. Opening it up Brooke was very excited and couldn’t wait to wear it.

Here she is in her new outfit;

The first thing I noticed was how soft the fabric was, it is 100% cotton. It was lovely and soft, Brooke was very comfortable with it on all day.

The quality is clear to see, the seams are double stitched with pink thread, which gives a lovely finish. The design of ‘Hello Kitty’ on both the front of the top, and the bottom of the leg, is soft despite being a transfer. There is shiny detail added to both, with glittery writing and shiny metal bits, which Brooke loved. I am sure there is techincal names for these, but I won’t lie, I am no clothing expert, just a mum  wanting good quality clothes.

and this is the leg detail

The sizing was perfect. I am so glad I ordered for Brookes height, and not her age, as that’s where I have been going wrong with trousers for her!

I checked the instructions inside before washing them, and was pleased to see a 30 wash was recommended. I put both items in and they came out looking fresh clean and good! They didn’t shrink, change shape or even fade. The detail on the front of Hello Kitty is still in tact and even the metal detailing is still in place. The price of the outfit was £27, which I think is a good price for the quality oand cosidering you get two items.

I have loved my first experience with Ellos, and I would definitely return! They have some great introductory offers at the moment too, find out more at http://www.ellos.co.uk/
