My daughter Brooke was super chuffed to receive a new 2011 Aquapet from mummynews.co.uk to review.
The super cute Aquapet instantly appealed to Brooke, it was bright in colour and has water inside with a cute little pet floating around. They have three games, memory moov, bubble boogie and aquaspeed. To turn the different modes on you simply hold down the ♥ and ★ button, or a combination of both, and speak into the speaker to activate them.
Aquapets respond to your voice and dance around in the water. You can unlock secret songs and different dance the moves the more you play with it. This is toy that your child wouldn’t get bored with after 5 minutes as there is always something else to do. If you purchase more than one pet, they also interact with each other!
The recommended age range is 6+. Brooke is 6 and easily managed to use it, in my opinion this would appeal to younger children too. It has even been a hit with adults who has visited our house, everyone wants a play! I never thought one little toy could keep so many people engaged for such a long time.
Aquapets come in a range of different colours with all different pets inside, there is most definitely a colour to suit every little girl. They are great for collecting. Aquapets are priced at just £9.99. I personally think that’s a great afforable price and they would make a lovely present for any young girl. The only bad point I can find is that the instructions to use the different games are only on a little paper leaflet and on the packaging box, which you have to rip open to get the pet out. A card or something a little a bit more sturdier would be a good accessory. A storage case for Aquapets would also be a fantastic idea too!
I can see Aquapets becoming the next big trend this year with the little girls!
