Cosatto Yo! Monobloom Stroller Review

Cosatto is saving the world from boring baby stuff, and they have saved my daughter Emma from having a boring stroller!

The Cosatto Yo! Monobloom is far from boring, in fact it’s the least boring pushchair I have possibly ever seen. The design is eye catching, and stands out in a crowd.

We were sent the Monobloom to test out with 8 month old baby Emma, this is her first ever stroller pushchair, as she has only been used to the Cosatto Giggle and other larger pushchairs before.

Opening up the box for the Yo! I found the chassis in one piece and all you do is simply pop the wheels on. It’s then that it dawned on me that all the wheels are fully removable at a push of a button, easy for storage and for making even smaller for small car boots etc. Great for keeping your boot free from mud on those muddy walks.

Along with the actual stroller there is accessories galore! You get a footmuff, which is snug, fleecy and soft. A changing bag which has a messy bag and a changing mat inside, a raincover, a head hugger, strap pads, all matching naturally. And as if that wasn’t enough, you also get a bag which clips on the side which the raincover fits into neatly, perfect!

What I love about the Yo! Monobloom Stroller:

I absolutley adore the frame. The rear of the frame is a glossy pink, and the rest is black. It looks lovely and is eye catching. It weighs just 7kg, is made of lightweight aluminium. It even has a handy handle for carrying and getting in and out of the car. There is a catch to keep the stroller shut when it is folded, but it is super easy to release when you do need to put it up. I have been stopped more about this stroller than any other pushchair I have used. The fabrics really stand out in the crowd of boring baby stuff. The detail on the fabric is also lovely, flowers adorn the footmuff, the bag and also the hood. It sets it all off lovely.

The front wheels are swivel wheels, but they can be locked. They push easily and they steer well, they have no mind of their own. The brake is operated with your foot, and is easy to get on, not so flip flop friendly to get off….but this is England as we don’t get many flip flop days.

The footmuff is snug, really snug. It is long enough for toddlers legs, but cosy enough for smaller babies too. It zips off and reveals the jazzy stripy inside which is also seen on the inside of the hood. You can then use the bottom part as a liner for the seat, fabulous. I love how the head hugger also fits inside the footmuff easily, so it really is snug even for a newborn.

Emma adores looking at the inside of the hood, but there is also loops so you can hang your own toys on there too. The straps of the harness are pink, actual bright pink! They are easy to adjust too.

The seat reclines with the use of a strap and a clip, which means you can recline it as little, or as much as you like. It is easy to do, and doesn’t take long at all. That means no faffing around, brilliant.

We adore the Cosatto Yo! Monobloom, it’s funky, lightweight and easy to push. What more could you want?
