Crayola is a brand I love and trust, I grew up with it as a child and trust it implicitly with my own children. When I was sent some items from their brand new ‘My First’ range, I knew Marky would have a grand old time trying them out.

The range includes…
Easygrip Jumbo Pencils
– These are chunky pencils, perfect for little ones to hold. They have cute characters all over them. You get 8 in a pack.
Easygrip crayons –
– These are triangular crayons are easy for little hands to hold. There is 16 crayons in pack, as with all Crayola products they are non-toxic.
Safety Scissors – This pack has two pairs of scissors inside, one for straight lines and one for zigzags. They are easy to use, and are Marks favourite item from the range. He calls them his ‘Snippy Scissors’
Washable Markers –
– These are chunky pens with rounded nibs, so they can’t get crushed when your excited, heavy handed toddler gets a bit rough. They are washable and this has been proven this week many times!
We decided to use the range to make some fish. Fish are a favourite for Marky, and these simple fishies are colourful, easy to make and quick to get results for impatient toddlers.
Simply draw a fish shape onto paper…and let the toddler use with crayons, pens and pencils.
The great thing is that it doesn’t matter if they go over the lines, as the safety scissors neaten everything up. We decided to use the zig zag scissors to give a different effect to our fishy. There you have a fishy! Great for putting on the fridge or pin board.

We love the Crayola ‘My First’ range, it is perfect for toddlers to create their brilliant masterpieces, and for parents it’s reassuring thatthey are completely safe and washable. Top marks to Crayola!
