I write this from my birthing ball, the birthing ball that is currently the only place I find comfortable to sit. I have pains in my lower abdomen, but know that there is no point in getting my hopes up as I just don’t labour naturally. With all three of my children I have been induced, and it normally takes a good couple of doses of prostin to even get things started, so I can balance safe on my ball knowing that I have a couple of weeks left of feeling this full.
It has been a bit of a dodgy week for me, I have had a really upset belly and as a result have stopped taking my iron tablets until I can keep food and drink down. I am still highly anaemic, but what can you do when your body refuses to accept food and drink? *she says as she actually darts to be sick*
On another note, the nesting kicked in and I got my bedroom sorted for baby girls arrival. Her clothes (yes, she has clothes finally!) are in actual drawers, and there is space for her Shnuggle Moses Basket stand (when hubby gets round to putting it up for me). I have also been stock piling food like a hoarder who is worried about the upcoming winter. And I have a bag, not just any bag, a lush bag. Meet the new addition to the Parker household, Sugarjack Rebecca. Isn’t she pretty? ♥
So at the moment as I sit on the ball and type this, I am struggling to stay awake, but the chances of napping with three kiddies to look after is non-existent. But hubby is only working a little bit of overtime today so at least I know that come this afternoon he will be home and I can go soak myself in a hot bath…why does 4.30pm seem to far away? Let alone the next 2-4 weeks I have until I give birth!
Final stretch! You have a lovely bump.
