    I dont think it is always easy to stay positive, some people blog about their PND or other such issues, I think this is often therapeutic for the person writing the piece, and maybe not positive as such, but if that piece helps out both the writer and any reader who may be suffering similar thoughts and feelings and they realise they are not alone then it is a worthwhile piece of writing.
    I also believe that writing in a caring way the exasperations your children cause you may also make other parents realise they are not alone and that your children driving you up the wall and having a messy bedroom etc is (in majority) the norm.
    Is it not better to rant your frustrations out on “pen and paper” than yell at your children?
    Nicely written, very valid points and I certainly agree with the rest of it.
