My kids all love stationery, the brighter and funkier the better! I am no exception, and even now I find it incredibly exciting to get a new packet of pens or pencils. There is something very exciting about opening a brand new packet of stationery, it used to be one of my favourite things, getting new stationery for my Birthday or Christmas. The feeling of having something special to write with has never gone away, and now both my 5 year old daughter and my 13 year old daughter have the exact same idea. So when they opened up a ery special package from DKL, there was much excitment about what they could use first.

Graphite Smencils – Five different smelling HB pencils for writing, but with the twist of being amazing smelling! Each pencil comes in its own individual plastic holder, with a cute topper that shows a picture of what smell it is, and the word too. These really do add an element of fun into doing the homework. Coloured Smencils – 10 pack of different coloured pencil, each with it’s own amazing smell! Again, these come in their own plastic tube for safe keeping, and they really do have a premium feel about them. They are brilliant quality, and make colouring even more fun. The colours are vibrant and the graphics are cute too. There is Bubblegum, Strawberry cupcake, Blueberry, Jelly Doughnut, Grape Soda, Cotton Candy, Root Beer, Watermelon, Lemon Lime Fizz and my personal favourite, Black Cherry. RRP £13
Gel Crayons – These are my kids utter favourite, they are gel crayons that smell AMAZING when you draw with them. There is flavours including Watermelon, Cotton Candy, Pineapple and Tangerine.
They are so smooth to use, much better than any crayon I have ever tried. They have a twist top, so you can twist the end to release more crayon when you draw it away. This is so much better than a standalone crayon as it’s impossible to snap it in half by accident. RRP £6.50
A super cute Watermelon pencil case, a bubbly design with raised bubbles and a cute watermelon zip hanger, this is great quality with great strong stitching and a material that is really strong even the heaviest handed child won’t be able to rip. RRP £9.50
There is a two year guarantee for the scents on all of the range, but reality is I don’t think that these will last two years with my lot, they are already wanting more. My 5 year old is just starting to learn to write, just a few months ago she refused to even try and write letters, but she comes home excited to get her smelly pencils and give it a really good go. She has even done letters and pictures for her teachers at school too, smelly ones!
