Last weekend we ventured down to London for a very special event, a chance to see The LEGO NINJAGO Movie before it hits the cinema screens this week.
I had no preconceived ideas about the film, other than the fact that LEGO have created two absolute belters in their previous movies, The LEGO Movie and LEGO Batman Movie.
Before the film started, we were treated to some great hospitality in the form of caractures, LEGO buiding, green screens and even a chance to play the new LEGO NINJAGO Movie video game. The kids had an absolute blast…
Sitting down to watch the film, rhere was a quick hello from Good Morning Britains Kate Garraway, who announced she is in the film as a news presenter for the show ‘Good Morning Ninjago’, Ninjago being the name of the town they live. Then it was time for the film to begin.
I won’t ruin the whole plot for you, as I really think the magic is in seeing what happens and experiencing it first hand. But the film follows the story of a boy who by day is hated at school by the other kids, but is secretly the Green Ninja that is everyone’s hero, but not even his Mum knows. It has quite a deep, well thought out plot, that is perfect for adults to think a bit deeper into, but also just as fun for kids to enjoy and know what is happening.
Well done LEGO for creating an absolute blinder of a film yet again!
You can watch the new LEGO NINJAGO Movie yourself in cinemas Friday 13th October 2017.
We were given ticket to the film screening, all thoughts are our own.
