My kids all adore trampolining. My youngest daughter is 5 and has been bouncing on her toddler trampoline daily at home, but there has always been huge issues with this. The toddler trampoline is just too small for her, yet takes up way too much space in my house at the same time. We have a huge trampoline in the garden, but in winter and bad (typical British) weather, she is so sad she doesn’t get the chance to go bouncing…until now! MyRebounder got in touch to show me how they have created a children’s trampoline that they thought we might like to try out…and try out we did!
Firstly when it arrived, I put off opening the box as I feared a mountain of springs and screws…and lots of metal parts to assemble (this was my experience of torture with the 10ft garden one..never again) but opening it up I was pleasantly pleased to see no assembly for metal and springs at all, the trampoline is almost ready to go, and certainly doesn’t require assembly at all! It’s already in one piece, just requires a cover putting on over the springs and some plastic caps on the metal parts. It comes flat packed with clever legs, they have a special mechanism that means you can fold the legs flat, and store it like that when not in use, and a storage bag too. I have found this utterly awesome, it is so thin it can slide under my sofa or into my utility room against a wall, no one trips over it and there is no swears from stubbing your toes! It is also quick to get out and up, just take out of the storage bag, unfold the legs and you are ready to bounce.
The actual trampoline is brilliant quality, you can tell it’s well made. The stitching, the fabric, the metal parts all ooze quality and that gives huge reassurance to me that it is sturdy enough to trust my precious child bouncing like a mad thing on it. One of my main reasons for encouraging my 5 year old to use her trampoline is her legs, she has physio due to tight muscles in her ankles and legs from her toe walking, part of her sensory issues from her Autism. Just a ten minute session on the trampoline helps to move the muscles she neglects when she toe walks, so I fully recommend this to help with tight muscles and the bouncing motion helps stretch everything out.
You can buy your own MyRebounder from the website directly, they currently come in blue or pink and retail at £89.95 and that’s a steal for what you get. MyRebounder I salute you!
