Bush Baby World is something that my 4 year old just knew she had to have when she saw the advert on TV…
Those cute little eyes and the soft plush body is just everything my little girl adores. The fact there is different ones available to collect was just fabulous to her. So of course, I dreaded hearing the price of these creatures, surely they would be really expensive? Well I was VERY happy to find out that they are SO reasonably priced, they start at just £7.99 RRP.
To celebrate World Dream Day, we received a super cute Bush Baby with Sleepy pod! The RRP is £12.99 for one of these sets, but you get such a cute little pod for your Bush Baby to sleep in, it really is a great addition for the little bit extra money.
The pod is made from solid plastic, and has a hook on top so you can hang it on the Bush Baby World Dream Tree if you have one, but also the base is flat so you can easily use it without a tree. Emma has loved taking her Bush Baby to bed with her in the sleepy pod, it helps as part of the routine for bed, as we say goodnight to Bush Baby and it doesn’t get out of it’s pod until morning…we put Bush Baby’s door over the opening, and off to sleep Bush Baby goes.
Did you know that Bush Baby has magical powers that mean only good dreams are allowed? No? Well it does in our house, and I’m sure it will be the same in yours…it’s amazing what a bit of sleepy magic and a super soft cute toy can do for bedtime bribery!
So what is a Bush Baby? Well you get a cute small soft toy, with possibly the softest tail ever! The body is soft but it has a harder head but is covered in soft fur too, aside from the actual face. There is no batteries needed for Bush Baby, you simply put your finger in the back of the head (it’s a lot less creepy than it sounds I promise), and you are then in control of the eyes and ears, they move as you move your finger. I’m not going to lie, the adults have loved playing around with it as much as the kids, and the eyes once moved can stay there, which makes for some hilarious photo opps!
So would I recommend Bush Baby World? Yes! A huge yes, for the money you get a super soft toy which doesn’t ever need batteries to make it work. It’s a good quality, well made soft toy with the addition that you have bribe potential for your child to go to bed like Bush Baby does.
You can buy your very own Bush Baby World Dreamstars, Shimmies (special glittery Bush Babies!) Sleepy Pod and the Dream Tree (RRP £49.99) if you’re feeling extravagant, from all good toy stockists including Smyths and Argos.
