Last Saturday we were lucky enough to be invited down to Leicester Square London for the preview of the brand new LEGO Batman Movie. Jordan is an absolute die-hard fan of LEGO and Batman, so I knew he would never forgive me if we didn’t go…that and I have to admit to be a huge LEGO fan too.
We arrived a little early for the film, for fun in the foyer! There was SO much fun to be had…

to some amazing caricature artists who created our very own Batman characters!

I think Jordan would of happily gone home with a smile on his face from the fun, but taking our seats in the IMAX cinema we got to exclusively see the film, The LEGO Batman Movie. We are a huge fan of the previous LEGO Movie, so I was a little worried that this might not live up to expectations, but that was thrown out of my head within the first few seconds. The comedy value of this film is huge, not just for children but for adults too. There is many references that adults will get that kids might not, but it’s all totally family friendly, action packed and a real delight to watch. I won’t spoil the plot, but I will say that in our opinion this was the best LEGO movie yet.
But the fun was not over, we then headed to an exclusive lunch at Planet Hollywood, courtesy of Warner Bros and LEGO for lunch and more LEGO fun.
We sat with fellow Lego lovers OneDadOneBlog, MeTheManAndKids and MummysZone and the kids had an absolute blast…while the parents also muscled in on the action too!
The day was topped off with Jordan meeting LEGO Batman.

It was an awesome day, one that left us both with huge smiles on our faces. So a big thank you to Warner Bros and LEGO for having us down for such an awesome day. You really must go see the film soon, you won’t be disappointed! (We are off to see it again this weekend, yes it’s really that good!)
