We adore Lion Guard, we recently reviewed some of the new Lion Guard toys that are available, but this time we had a Leap N Roar Kion pounce upon us for review.
Kion is the cutest, he is super soft to touch and the detail on him is great, he has soft fur and embroidered eyes which really bring him to life from the hit TV show. He stands at an impressive size, with 36cms of height to him, he is a great size for playing with. When we first got him we loved watching him in his box…
Getting him out of the box, I realised there was so many more features still to learn and love. Firstly he is motion activated, so when you wave your hand in front of Kion he comes to life with his trademark roar! You can also press down Kion at the back and when you hear a click he stays sat for a little while, before he springs into action and leaps! I do have to say, before I got him out of the box I expected this to work like the old school dogs that are battery operated and walk and flip, but this is manually operated. My daughter didn’t seem phased by this and still loves Kion loads. He has ten sounds, which are all from the TV show, so he really is the perfect companion for a fan!
I am really pleased with Leap N Roar Kion, my daughter adores him and he has become a permanent fixture to our house and many times I have come back from school to be confronted with a massive ROAR!
