Yesterday was an exciting day for us, I decided to brave taking my 4 little people to London by myself for an exclusive event which we have been looking forward to all week. It is almost the summer holidays, and these last few days are dragging, so this was the perfect opportunity to have a bit of fun and unwind.
Arriving in London we braved the tube and an easy journey later we arrived at Dean Street Pizza Express, a special venue as it also doubles as a Jazz Club too…how cool?!
Today however, we were here to sample the Piccolo menu which includes awesome Ice Age activity sheets which are host to an awesome competition. There is an opportunity to draw your very own Ice Age character for a chance to win a trip for the family to Hollywood, and a VIP tour of Fox Studios, what a treat that would be!
The kids loved the activity sheets…
Not to mention the starter of doughballs was a hit…my strange child adores the veg that comes included…
Some for Mummy of course too…
Then the mains arrived, and the children get a vast choice of pizza or pasta, with gluten free options available too. Mark went for the Pizza, and Emma went for her favourite pasta…
I had the lovely Margherita Bufala which was just perfect!
Finally, the dessert! The kids get a choice of desserts, mine chose ice cream sundae which comes with a little cone on top, and the Bambinoccino comes included in the 3 courses for £6.95, a total bargain!
I had to sneak in a dessert too…the chocolate brownies are amazing!
But this was just the start of an awesome day, we then headed around the corner to Twentieth Century Fox for a special screening of Ice Age Collison Course. We are massive fans of Ice Age films, and this one didn’t disappoint at all. It is possibly my most favourite Ice Age yet, and I adored the whole film. Even Emma was glued to the screen the whole time. You should totally go and see it (and have Pizza Express too, of course!)
We even got to meat Sid and Scratch too…
It was an amazing day, I would like to thank Pizza Express and Twentieth Century Fox for a great day that we won’t forget. Massive thumbs up from us!
Fab wasn’t it! Loved the wedding at the end! Sucker for happy endings me! Lovely to see you all again x
Ah what a lovely write up! Love the pics! 🙂
