The Great British Bake Off final is imminent, and Bake Off fever has hit the country. My kids love getting messy in the kitchen, but it’s not always possible to let them get their bake on when I am busy doing other things, after all ovens are dangerous.
But then John Adams sent us some of their new range, which is just perfect for little people to get their bake on, with no baking required!

First up there is the Chocolate Lolly Maker. Included inside is lots of goodies to not only make your lollies, but to wrap them too. The only thing that isn’t included is your chocolate, but that’s great as you can pick your own preferred brand.
So as mentioned, there is no baking involved. Simply melt the chocolate in the chocolate melting unit with the provided spoon. It is so safe to do as you just fill the unit up with warm water and let your child actually stir and melt it themselves. How great is that?! Then just pour into the moulds provided, adding sticks (included in the box). Brooke loved doing this part.
Then pop in the fridge, after a short amount of time you can even use one of the stamps to put a word into your lolly, such as ‘Thank you’. However we did find that our fridge set the lollies a little quicker than the average (new fridge), so our message didn’t turn out great, but the lolly did!

Then when it is ready, you can use the lolly wrapper to make your lolly fabulous ready to give to your recipient. There is plenty of wrappers included, so you can get lots of lollies out of your set. A big thumbs up from us!

If chocolate isn’t your thing, maybe the Mixubbles is the one for you. With this set you can create your very own flavoured drinks.

Again, included is everything you need, except lemonade and batteries for the light up electronic mixer. There is 3 candy flavour sachets included, gummy bear, pear drop and cherry bomb. Our personal favourite is gummy bear!

With this we made a short video demo to show just how simple it is to do…

Just add the powder into the Mixubble character, then pour your lemonade into the mixer. Press the button and watch it whirl around and mix up your drink! The whirling of the mixer is pretty magical to watch.

Finally, there is the John Adams Mini Make Cupcakes. Again, no chocolate or edible decorations are included, but this means you can pick your favourite. But inside the box is a whole host of goodies. There is a cake stand you can put together to show off your creations, there is also cupcake boxes and cake wraps to give your creations to your chosen recipients with style!

They are super easy to make, and again no baking is required, just use the melting unit (again filled with warm water). There is a bowl included with a biscuit grinder which is pretty awesome for breaking up your favourite biscuits to add to your cupcakes. We used Oreos as they are delicious! Then you can add your crushed biscuits to your chocolate before spooning into your cupcake moulds. There is a recipe book included which gives you lots of suggestions of different ones to try, including adding sprinkles into the mould before the chocolate. Then once you have filled your mould, just pop in the fridge to set. Then you can wrap them, or box them or even display them on the stand included. Fabulous!
