As a blogger mum of four children, it will come to no surprise to you that I LOVE taking photos of my little people. I have become quite addicted to snapping everything from our days out, to TV time at home, the list really is endless. But I am very fussy about making sure that the pictures I take are nice ones, no blurs, sharp and hopefully quite nice to look at. But I am no camera pro.
So when Panasonic sent me the Panasonic Lumix TZ55 to review, I hoped it would live up to my expectations. The TZ55 is packed full of features, it boasts a impressive 20 x superzoom, 16 megapixels, full HD recording, WiFi connectivity, and my most favourite function, the flip up monitor!
Opening up the box, everything is included apart from a memory card, so a top tip is to buy one when you purchase your camera. The charger lead and plug is included, which I love as it means no having to buy new batteries. The options are vast for taking photos, the wheel on top has options for everything you could need, full specs available here for the geeky.
I have been using the camera in Intelligent Auto mode mostly, which is great for taking pictures on a whim. It is compact enough that it fits in my handbag, the glovebox, and even the baby changing bag. The video footage has come in handy numerous times, and the fact it records in full HD has been fantastic for uploading to YouTube. The zoom is out of this world, the detail is so clear when you zoom in, it doesn’t go blurry unlike other cameras I have tried.
Here is one of my favourite shots, a picture taken my amateur little old me…and I adore it! The quality is so good that I have had this made into a canvas for my wall.
