Read Along with Woolly has 8 legs, obviously, but each one has a special feature. Each foot has a sound inside. Inside Woollys belly, there is a little story book, and with the use of the book, you press the buttons when they are mentioned. It helps to bring the story to life. The sounds are all ones that your child will remember from the much loved TV programme.

The book has some lovely graphics inside, and it does fit well back inside Woollys tummy, but it is only a thin card book, I would love to see a rigid board book with young children, or maybe the option to buy extra books.

I have to admit, as much as it’s fun to read with Woolly, he makes an awesome toy without it. Emma loves carrying Woolly around, and loves pressing his feet too.

Read Along with Woolly is suitable from 10 months, but it will easily appeal right up to school age fans, and even help the older ones to read. We love Woolly, and this is the perfect toddler buy this Christmas for any Woolly fan.
