So after a second week of Cambridge Weight Plan, I was struggling with not filling my face, I had my dreaded weigh in…I arrived to my afternoon weigh in, nervous but hopeful. Stepping on those scales, I saw the number 12 and smiled. Yes, I have made it down to 12 stone 12! Woop! OK, so that’s only a 2lb loss, but I am more than happy with that!
Unfortunately I rewarded myself with a Kit Kat Chunky, and a pretzel, and then a dinner of chicken burger in a bun, with chips. and cheese. Sigh.
I was fully prepared that Friday I would get back onto it 100%, but I woke up feeling utter awful, I had no energy, and I needed to get all four kids ready and to school. So I had a slice of toast, that kinda set me up for the rest of an awful day. I felt physically ill, and after a lunch of a cheese roll and crisps, I got that dreaded 3pm slump! It brought back memories of before I started the diet, I would feel shocking in the afternoons. I would feel so tired, that it felt like I had just finished a night shift! Well there was only one way to go after that, I ate dominos for dinner. Waking up Saturday, I felt horrid. I honestly felt like I was hungover. A carb hangover. I knew I had to get back on it, so since Saturday morning I have been on it 100%. I know now, that it just isn’t worth the horrid feeling the next day of a blow out. I am excited to see what this weeks loss will be on Thursday, although I am only expecting a 2lb loss, as it’s summer and I did have a bad few days!
