It’s been six weeks that I have been doing Sole Source with CWP. I would like to point out, this is my personal journey, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I am not a medical professional, so I advise you contact a professional if you are thinking of doing it.
With the boring stuff over, let me bore you with the latest installement to my #projectskinnypins. So this week I have been 100%, no cheats, and lots of lots of water. I have also been using my Slendertone belt, although I am not expecting miracles from it, surely it’s worth a bash. I have noticed my belly is actually pretty awful. It never used to be, but it looks like my fourth pregnancy killed my stomach. I also had a fitness instructor feel to see if my stomach muscles had gone back together, and she couldn’t even find them….I know that isn’t a good thing! Maybe I will have to get a doctors opinion at some point….
So I have been getting myself into a nice routine at home, it is now the summer holidays, and I thought without the manic school runs, that I may find myself wanting to eat, but I haven’t. I actually find it easier being at home as I don’t get tempted by petrol station treats, or the lure of takeaways or coffee shops. I can also enjoy supping the day away with ice cold water.
Oh and a big milestone happened this week, I wore a dress without my comforting fat leggings underneath….I have possibly the worlds worst legs, but I was so hot, so I braved it and actually it was OK. I realised maybe they aren’t as bad as I thought they were….I am learning to live with them. Yay to not spending my summer in jeans like last year!!!
So today was weigh in day, and today I stepped on those scales and actually covered my eyes….a 3lb loss! So happy with that! It means a total loss of 19lbs since I started my journey, and one of those weeks was a bad week which resulted in 1lb gain. As I mentioned, I love not having to think of food still, but I know the time is coming when I will have to have some food everyday soon, and quite frankly I am not sure I am ready for that!
I have a gap between my abs too (I’ve had two babies). I have been working on it for a way months now and it has shrunk but it’s still definitely there. I even wrote a post about it http://urbanmumble.com/2014/12/have-a-mummy-tummy/ I am bit concerned what any potential future babies might do to my belly as diastasis gets more common and more severe the more babies you have.
