I make no secret of my love for pushchairs, and I am always searching for something fabulous. I have lots of ‘wants’ from a pushchair, for a start it has to be able to parent face and world face too. It has to be easy to fold and fit in the boot of my teeny car, and most importantly it MUST be comfortable for my child.
I think I have found something that fits the bill! The Easywalker Mini!
When the Easywalker Mini turned up, I actually had no preconceived ideas about what to expect, I had never experienced Easywalker products before. Easywalker are a brand who developed in the Netherlands, they have made an entrance into the UK, but not in a massive boom kinda way (yet). They have teamed up with Mini, the prestigious car brand to create something sleek, fun and practical.
The result is something that is of top quality, it has a lovely leather handlebar which has Mini embossed into it.
The stitching is like a car interior and the ride is comfortable for my daughter. I also kinda like that I am pushing around something different, and I have been stopped numerous times with people asking what it is, and more importantly where they can buy one.
The Easywalker Mini arrived at my house in 2 boxes, this is because you can pick what colour chassis and wheels you would like, and also you get to pick a colour pack. I was sent the sleek black chassis and black wheels. I was also sent the Union Jack Colour Pack, which is a lovely contrast against the subtle frame. There is a handy configuration guide online, so you can find out what style and look you want to go for.
So putting the Easywalker Mini together was, well, easy (excuse the pun). I did however find that folding it took a little bit of practice, but I have cracked that and the result is impressive. It fold slim and small, it fits easily in my boot, and of course it also fits in the boot of a Mini too!
It has some features I adore, such as the recline, it’s easy to do one handed. The seat sits up nicely, meaning my daughter is comfortable and can watch the world around her, but when she needs a sleep she can comfortably recline. The hood is connected to the back part of the pushchair, and is adjustable, meaning tall babies can still have headroom, it’s just a pull of the bar with one hand to adjust. The hood has a sun visor, and this might look small but it actually does the job very well. I love that it is parent facing, meaning ultimate interaction with baby daughter. My favourite part? It can be folded in parent facing mode with the seat attached. Awesome.
I have to say, I am impressed with this pushchair so far, I shall post an update soon and a video too to show you exactly how it works, so stay tuned!
I was sent the Easywalker Mini for the purpose of this review, all thoughts are my own.
