Woolly the loveable spider from the hit TV series, has a brand new app that is sure to delight fans. It is available on the App store now for Apple users, we have downloaded the app, and my 3 year old son has been giving it a whirl.
First up, the loading page is fun, and Woolly appears and greats them with the voice that they will all love and remember from the show, there is a menu which plays the theme tune, with options to choice from…
As a user you then work your way through the game, and help Woolly to do his tasks, everyday tasks that as a person you would need to do too. What better way to convince your child to get dressed in the morning, or brush their teeth other than reminding them that Woolly does it?
The app promotes not only free play, but structured play too. There is a hidden parent feature which allows you to schedule what time they can do things, this means that a message is displayed on the screen to tell you child when to do the task, great idea for bedtime routine.
Of course, there is an educational element included, and children can count with Woolly too.
The Woolly & Tig App is great fun, my son loves it and as a parent I love that it helps encourage everyday tasks.
