Watching this moving video from Unilever, it made me stop and think, stop and think about the future. We have no idea what the future may hold, but we can all help to shape that future.
Unilever is a massive corporation, and their pledge to help make a difference is a big one. Project Sunlight is about more than just throwing some money in a pot, it’s about making a difference. Unilever are asking that we all think about how we can make changes to make the world a better place, a better place for our precious children to grow up in, and of course their children too.
Launching today, 20th November, National Children’s Day, it’s a really fitting time to kick start something big, something that will make a big change.
All around the world people are making a change, in just three simple steps.
See. See a brighter future, watch the video and be inspired and motivated that it is possible for change
Act. It’s the little things, the little changes you can make. Hellmans are aiming that all the eggs they use will be freerange by 2020. You can make a change by using free range eggs too.
Join. Join in the hundreds of thousands of others who have pledged to make a difference. Stand up and be counted. Unilever will be helping 2 million children through their ongoing partnerships, providing school meals through the World Food Programme. Providing clean drinking water through Save the Children and helping to improve hygiene through World Vision.
To start making a change it’s really simple, simply sign up to Project Sunlight. It is quick and easy, you can even use your Twitter and Facebook details to do it in one click, it’s that simple. Lets join together and make a change.
