Britmums 2013 was an amazing weekend that I would love to do every weekend given the chance! It was filled with friends, laughter and even lots of bloggy stuff!
My amazing sponsor for the event was Coca Cola, I was so proud to be sponsored by them as they are a brand that I adore. As a family we buy Coca Cola every week as we are firm fans. What I was not expecting was to come away from Britmums loving them EVEN more than I did before!
So not only did they create personalised bottles for everybody who attended….
But I got to speak to their nutritional expert who helped bust some myths about Coca Cola. For a start, we all know Diet Coke is the drink of choice when dieting, and for me regular Coca Cola is out of bounds. That was until I was pointed into the direction of the ‘Work It Out’ calculator. It explains how many calories are in your drink of choice and then tells you what exercise will work it off. But it’s not all strenuous stuff, there is simple things such an option for things ‘Around the home’ , which includes things like Vacumming and window cleaning, yes ladies housework does burn calories!
The shocker of the weekend for me was finding out just how little calories are in regular Coca Cola. In a regular can there is only 139 calories, which is a lot less than I imagined it was! In simple terms there is 220 calories in a small bar of chocolate, which means Coca Cola is not out of bounds for me at all!
