Ever since baby Emma was born she has been sleeping in sleep sacks which zip up. I even truly believe that as soon as she hears that zip and gets closed inside, she knows it is sleep time, and that is fantastic for creating the perfect sleep routine. When PurFlo offered to send one of their SleepSac’s for review, I was keen to see if there would be anything to distinguish this from other similar products.
Straight away one massive difference was clear to see, it has removable arms! This means that in the summer you can have it sleeveless, and in winter you just zip the arms on to keep baby warm. This seems like a great idea if you are on a budget, as it would mean you only need one SleepSac for the different seasons. Now of course you may wonder what happens with the zip teeth which remain on the SleepSac after you have removed the sleeves, but PurFlo have created special guards which cover them, so no scratching babies delicate skin. On top of that the sleeves even have built in scratch mitts.
It was only when I put baby Emma inside it that night that I found out the other benefits. First up is the reason behind why the zip is curved across the SleepSac, it makes changing babies bum SO much easier, it means baby Emma doesn’t have to be disturbed when she has a badly timed poop. The outside of the SleepSac is made from 100% cotton, while the inside is 100% Bamboo Dream lining which is environmentally friendly, 60% more absorbent than cotton and it also has natural antibacterial properties, very reassuring.
Baby Emma sleeps well in the SleepSac, it washes up lovely and I love the feature of the arms being removable, I will certainly consider buying a bigger size when Emma outgrows this one.
The PurFlo SleepSac comes in two togs, 1.0 and 2.5 TOG, and in five colours, all available to see here at www.purflo.com
PurFlo sent us the SleepSac for the purpose of this review, all thoughts are my own.
Sounds great x
