Lindam is a brand I have got to known in my 10 years of parenting, we have their baby gates and in all honesty I find them brilliant. We were recently sent a Jump About Bouncer for baby Emma to test out.
With baby Emma being so small, the thought of her being left in the doorway was scary, but opening up the box and putting it together, the Jump About looks secure and safe and I had no hesitation about putting her inside. The door clamp is solid and rigid too. It is suitable from when a child can hold their head up unaided, and can be used until they can walk, or up to 12kg. To assemble the Jump About all you need to to do is the minimal basics.
Assembly took just a few minutes, there is clear instructions included. The first thing that stood out to me was the supportive seat unit. It has wrap around velcro to strap Emma in, as well as a clip strap. It is padded and Emma seems really comfortable inside it. It is completely height adjustable, meaning as your child grows you can adjust it and carry on using it still. I found it really quick to adjust to get the right height.
Emma loves putting weight on her feet and standing up, this means I can get five minutes to do the housework, and she gets a little bit of exercise. The idea of this bouncer appealed to me greatly, as we have a static bouncing toy for her that she adores, it is very big, takes up loads of room and is not easy to transport from room to room. The Lindam Jump About is the complete opposite, it is easy to move from door to door, and is quick to assemble and get ready for Emma. I use it on the bathroom when I need a shower, and on the bedrooms when I am changing the sheets. I wouldn’t recommend leaving a child in this for a prolonged period of time (as with anything) but 10 minutes is more than enough to wear little Emma out.
If your child likes to be on their feet, I would suggest giving this a try. It feels secure, comfortable and safe and we like it a lot!
The Lindam Jump About bouncer is available from all good nursery stores, for your nearest stockist visit http://www.lindam.com. You can also ‘Like’ them on Facebook at: https://en-gb.facebook.com/
We were provided with the Lindam Jump About bouncer for the purpose of this review, all thoughts are my own.
We have this for baby sweet pea to try, I have never used a door bouncer before, but seeing how happy Emma looks makes me excited x
