It may be my fourth baby I am pregnant with, my I am still an over anxious parent who worries if the baby is too hot or too cold. I don’t think I am alone in this, as room temperatures are such a tricky thing to gauge as an adult. It probably doesn’t help that I have moved from a toasty warm new build house where the temperature control for the heating never went above 15 even in the thick snow. We are now in a country house, with no cavity wall insulation and our thermometer is on 25 tonight! So the thought of bringing a newborn vulnerable baby into this house is even more worrying! My fears have been subsided though by a few must have products from Gro Company.

The Gro-egg is a room thermometer, but with a difference. It has a digital display on the front, but also a colour changing glow night light. This means that at a glance I can look over and see what the temperature is like. With my previous children I had a manual room thermometer, which meant that I then had look at what the temperature was then see if that was in the ‘safe zone’, now all I have to do is look at the colour of the light. So if the light says it is too hot, not only could I try and adjust the room temperature but I can adjust babies blankets and possibly her gro-bag. Or if it’s a bit nippy, add a blanket or a bigger tog Gro-bag. I love that there is no batteries, it works via the mains, and has a charger included.
The Gro-egg Shell is a brand new product, available in three cute designs, you can add a character to your Gro-egg.
We were sent the penguin, and he is really very cute. For just £4.99 you can choose one of three designs and I find it incredibly helpful in dimming the light a little, I love a dark room to sleep and the light on the Gro-Egg is a little bright for me to sleep at night, so the shell helps massively. Isn’t he cute?? I am sure my little one will love it!
