With the colder weather here, I am always looking for funky ways to cover my bump without the expense of an oversized coat which will only be used for 4 more weeks. So when the Seraphine Nursing Shawl was up for review by www.mummynews.co.uk I was keen to try it.
When it arrived I was surprised by the quality, it is soft material (bamboo viscose blend) and it has good quality popper which have some lovely detail on them. I was also surprised by how versatile it is, it can be worn in a variety of ways. I am wearing it now to cover my bump and keep me warm, but when the baby is born I can also it as a nursing shawl, to cover up my winter baby while feeding. You could even use it to swaddle baby, and with the scent of mummy on it, I am in no doubt that my baby girl will love to be swaddled in it when I am not always able to hold her.
The Nursing Shawl comes in one size, and it is more than large enough for me at a size 14, I am in no doubt that it would fit larger ladies and smaller ladies too, as the poppers mean you can adjust it yourself. The Shawl is handwash only, which is the downside to this garment, but it’s a good quality item and of a colour where you won’t need to wash it with every single use.
The RRP of the Seraphine Shawl is £42.00 and is available on their website.
