J is typical 9 year old boy, into collecting things and battling with his friends from school. Monsuno is popular amongst them, and it amazes me the skills they have when it comes to these.

We were sent through a Monsuno Strike Sector Combat and some cores to review.
Included as extra was two manual cores, which you load yourself and one new motorised core which J had never seen before.
For people not in the know, such as me, The Monsuno core is a collectable capsule with a high performance spinning action and a powerful Monsuno Monster concealed within. On impact the monster springs in to attack … and is ready for battle! In addition to the Monsuno collection is the MonsunoStrike Sector Combat Set, a fast action battle with launch ramp for spinning collectables and battling monsters. There is also collectable cards with each pack which the kids love.
The Monsuno Strike Sector Combat Set is the perfect arena to contain the battles.
It has two launch ramps and the perfect surface for the spin. It also has a carry bag included and the actual set comes apart and fits inside nicely. The 56cm board folds up and slips in the bag too, as bit like a trival persuit board if you have ever played it (showing my age!!) The bag is great for the kids, as it means they can take it anywhere with them. Especially their friends houses for battling or grans house to keep them amused.
As you can see, the kids love it, even my 7 year old daughter wants in on the action, Monsuno is not just for boys! The favourite has to be the new Motorised core, J already wants more for his birthday in October!
Monsuno single cores are priced at RRP £9.99 and the Motorised core have a RRP of £15. The Strike Sector Combat Set is £39.99 RRP.
