As a mum to a 9 year old boy and 7 year girl, I have had my fair share of grumbles at the state of the living room floor, the bedroom floor, and even the kitchen floor!! Toys everywhere! What I find even more horrendous is standing on a toy while trying to carry out everyday household tasks, cue the swearing at the hurt feet and toes!
So when I saw Hot Wheels Wall Tracks Starter Set made by Mattel, I thought all my problems had been solved!! Hot Wheels Wall Tracks attach to the wall so that your floor is left clear, why has no one thought of this before??
Opening up the set we were confronted with lots of pieces, but also in-depth instructions which my hubby found easy to follow. Included inside the box is lots of pieces to complete your track, it looked quite daunting!
The instructions also doubles up as a hanging template, so you know where to put the appropriate pieces to complete the construction. The command strips mean that the fixers won’t damage your walls.
To start off your track you simply use masking tape to attach the hanging template to the wall, then pop on the command strips in the relevant places. It was easy to do, and everything is very straight forward. You then assemble the track pieces, again everything is clearly shown in a diagram. The instructions said it would take 20 minutes, but we managed it in 10 minutes without any rushing.
Before long we had a completed wall track!
Jordan, Brooke and Daddy too, couldn’t wait to get started using the wall tracks. Here is a video demonstration of our Wall Tracks in action!
The Hot Wheels Wall Tracks Starter Set has different parts to change, which means you can get your car to either shoot off the long orange part, or bump down the part with flaps, or even shoot of the corner!
The wall tracks are still attached to my walls 7 days later, and it shows no signs of falling off or coming apart.
This is a fantastic space saving toy, so if you are short of space, this is the toy for you! It is also fantastic for keeping that dreaded track and cars off the floor, I have no problem with the Hot Wheels track being out, as it is out of my way to hoover!
