Easter time is all about eggs for some people, but in our household things are a little bit different. Although we are not religious, we celebrate Easter as it’s a great time of year to bring the family together and enjoy some great quality time. I also love using as the perfect opportunity to treat the children to something lovely.  My children are inundated with chocolate eggs from family, friends and even school and although I have no problem with them eating a bit of chocolate, I do love to treat them to something that will last a little bit longer. In fact, we still have some of last years eggs left in the kitchen!! I will be doing some posts on Easter Activities over the next few weeks in the run up to Easter and the school half term, alot of which won’t involve and money but just some family fun time, but there will also be some fabulous Gift Guides which I have spent a lot of time researching.

So first up is my Easter Gift Guide for Girls.

Build-a-bear

Brooke like many little girls adores Build-A-Bear! It’s a real treat outing as it’s not cheap, but it does leave lasting memories and a fabulous bear for them to keep and love. For Easter Build-A-Bear have created two special edition bears
Build-A-Bear Workshop® is the place for Easter gifting.  With gifts that give back, classic friends and traditional favourites, personalised gifts with sound, stocking stuffers and more – there’s something for everyone on the list and for every budget.  Fulfill gift requests with one-stop shopping at any of the more than 50 Build-A-Bear Workshop stores in the UK or online at buildabear.co.uk

Sylvanian Families.

Brooke absolutely adores Sylvanian Families and has two houses full of the things, it’s a great hobby which I am happy to indulge her in as it was something I loved as a child too (it means I get a sneaky play too!). Flair PLC have released some special sets to celebrate 25 years and this gorgeous rabbit family is just one of the sets. These gorgeous little figures are adorable. Pink Chillies.

Pink Chillies is all about Elephants! If you like Elephants then you will love Pink Chillies, even if you don’t have a special love for elephgants, then I am sure you will still like Pink Chillies!! These gorgeous handmade Belgium chocolates would be the perfect gift for any little girl. The Elephant inside has edible glitter and the little detailing is amazing. I have sampled both the milk chocolate and white chocolate and they are a real treat! I think these would be brilliant for sending through the post too as the box isn’t too bulky. Oh and did I mention Pink Chillies give 10% to charity? So you can rest happy that you have helped a charity and sent some yummy chocolate. http://pinkchillies.co.uk/

Milky Bunny.

Although a little pricey, this gorgeous bunny would be very much loved way past Easter. An adorable snow white bunny, which really moves and sounds like a real pet; Milky is the new cuddly best friend for life – not just for Easter! Yes we know this is an extravagant gift, but Milky does make the ultimate Easter Bunny! Check out www.flairplc.co.uk for more details.
