When Aldi offered to send me a hamper to see what they had to offer, not only was I excited, my hubby was too!
It arrived while I was working away, and I came home to an empty carton of
Del Rivo Orange Juice.
Del Rivo is not made from concentrate, it is made from 100% fresh fruit and has no added water or sugar. A glass is one of your recommended five a day, but is also rich in vitamin C. The cost of this top quality juice? £1.29 for 1 litre! It’s my hubbys favourite new juice and he was keen to drive to Aldi to stock on lots more!!
Next to be sampled was Moser Roth Finest Milk Chocolate. Inside the smart sleek box, you get 5 individually wrapped bars of chocolate. I can honestly say it such gorgeous chocolate, it is smooth, silky and delicious. I would happily eat this all day, every day! For 125g the cost is just 99p.
Passions Hand Cooked Crisps were next to be tested out, they are total luxury crisps. I tried out Sea Salted flavour and they were gorgeous. There was plenty of flavour in the pack. Aldi have created these with lots oof care, they pick the best potatoes from Irish farms, each crisp is then hand cut and cooked in a coverted castle in the lush green irish countryside. 150g is included, and that is a big packet, but with a small price of just 99p.
When it comes to nappies and wipes, I have been buying the same brand since Mark was born. When Aldi sent me their Mamia nappies and Mamia wipes, I was dubious about trying something different as I wasn’t sure how they would favour against the premium priced brand I exclusively used. First up to be used was Mamia Wipes, there is 80 wipes inside the pack, and they smell delicious! They are not too wet, and not too dry, they get Mark cleaned up easily and leave me residue behind. They are dermatologically tested and are cotton soft. They are formulated with Aloe Vera and Chamomille to help keep baby’s skin soft and smooth. These are my new favourite wipes, and the great thing is they only cost 79p. It is no surprise that they have won a Mother & Baby Silver Award!
Mamia Maxi Nappies cost just £4.99 for 48 nappies, they are great quality. They have a super absorbant core, and are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. They have really stretchy sides and Mark is really comfortable in them. Not once has Mark been left wet in these!
I am a complete Aldi lover, they have some amazing products available, and I can’t wait for our next trip to Aldi to stock on some of my new favourites, especially the Moser Roth chocolate!!

>I'm a big fan of the Mamia nappies. Aside from the quality, they've been designed with Dad Logic in mind. Have a look at the little giraffe dude on the waistband – his front is on the front of the nappy, and his back on the back. If I'd found these when Squeaky was smaller, it would have saved a lot of Daddy/Nappy disasters. (He'll kill me for writing this!)
