Everyone I know loves a bargain, yet we all want quality at the same time. When I was sent some products from the new Wilko Baby range, I was interested to try them out on my son.
Obviously more important than saving money, is making sure that the products we use are completely suitable for our precious little ones. The Wilko Baby range is dermatologically tested, and is paediatrician approved. They are free from Parabens and are suitable for even newborn babies.
I loved the packaging; it is clean, fresh and has some very cute characters on the front of each one. They certainly don’t look cheap in my opinion.
The range includes Baby Shampoo 500ml, Baby Oil 300ml, Baby Lotion 300ml, Head to Toe Wash 500ml, and Moisturising Hair and Body Wash 300ml.
I tried out the Head to Toe wash first and found it easy to get out of the bottle, there was no need to squeeze the bottle hard, which is handy when you are bathing a baby. It cleaned Mark up a treat, and washed off of his skin nicely. It is a nice big bottle with 500ml inside, and is a very reasonable 98p.
The Baby Shampoo has a gentle no-tears formula, this again was easy to squeeze out of the bottle, and again washed out easily. There is 500ml in this bottle too, and costs just 98p again.
The Baby Oil was next up to try. You can add a few drops into the bath water to keep your child’s skin feeling soft. It is created with Aloe-Vera which helps lock in moisture. I personally love using it was massage oil. It is suitable for adults, and I don’t need asking twice to try it out! This has 300ml inside the bottle and costs £1.28.
The Baby Lotion was next to try, and although I found it fairly runny, it absorbed into Marks skin easily. I was pleased to see it was fragrance free like the rest of the range. It is enriched with Allantoin to leave your babies skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturised. It left Marks skin feeling soft. There is 300ml inside this bottle and costs 98p.
Finally I tried out the Moisturising Hair and Body Wash. This has a no-tears formula, and is designed to get even new-born’s skin clean and safe.
This I found was very similar to the Head to Toe wash. It was easy to get out of the bottle, and got Mark nice and clean. There is 200ml included and costs 78p.
The Wilko Baby range is available in Wilkinsons stores now. They are fantastic bargains, which give you the reassurance that they suitable for even a newborn baby’s skin. They are affordable and great products! That’s good money saving!
